What is special about our camp

The Earthmanship camp program for children is a free program in an untouched natural environment.  There is no set program that children need to follow, the staff is there to support the children in doing what they want to do in nature.

This experience provides the children a great opportunity to grow.
It also teaches the children to:

1) free themselves
2) feel, imagine and think for themselves
3) realize that a sense of responsibility is needed for being free
4) know and love themselves

Loving oneself is a very important core part of our lives as human beings.  After learning to love ourselves, we can finally think about, understand and feel for others.

There are many countries in the world with people who live different styles of lives.  Even though there are different languages and customs in different parts of the world, we are all the same.

This is why our program is open to staff and children from all nationalities.
We use both English and Japanese during our program, and communicate in the most comfortable way for each participant.

Earthmanship’s wish is for children, who are our future and our hope, to have a strong sense of self that will allow them to become adults who can walk the path of their own lives with their own strong feet.
